Institution’s Innovation Council

INSTITUTION’S INNOVATION COUNCIL (IIC)

About IIC

The Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), in collaboration with AICTE, has introduced the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) program to systematically promote a culture of innovation and strengthen the startup ecosystem in higher education institutions. The council primarily aims to inspire, motivate, and support students in engaging with various activities related to pre-incubation, incubation, and the development of successful startups.

IIC @ PSNITS

Our institution has established the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) to promote activities related to innovation, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), startups, and entrepreneurship. The council comprises both faculty members and students, fostering a collaborative and innovative ecosystem on campus.

The IIC cell conducts meetings every quarter to plan upcoming activities and review those already carried out. Through these initiatives, students gain opportunities to participate in various innovationdriven programs and competitions organized by the Ministry of Education.

Students actively engage with renowned industry experts, entrepreneurs, and academicians, which helps them broaden their perspectives and refine their ideas. The IIC also encourages students to explore and experiment with emerging technologies, enabling them to develop prototypes and strengthen their practical skills and confidence.

Overall, the IIC at PSNITS provides a dynamic and supportive environment that nurtures students at every stage—from ideation to the successful development of startups.
